Why a Care-needs pad?
These are just like our regular Confidence pants but instead of the flannel (cotton) upper layer on the pad, they have a synthetic fabric that allows moisture to be wicked through to the absorbent layer(s) underneath.
Designed for children who are prone to skin infections or who are having regular soiling accidents as well as urinary accidents, this pad cleans easily and keeps skin drier. It's still important to change pants as soon as accidents happen.
When to choose our regular Confidence pants instead of Care-needs Confidence pants?
If your child is working towards recognising wetness, and soils infrequently then our regular Confidence pants would be a better choice, as the flannel upper is more similar in feel to normal underwear and will give maximum wetness recognition and maximum absorbency.

These reusable incontinence briefs have a large waterproof, absorbent pad sewn into normal underwear.
They look, feel, and fit just like regular undies — only your child knows they’re wearing protection.
They’re more absorbent than most other training pants or period pants on the market and ideal for school or outings.
If your child occasionally out-wets the absorbency, please contact us to ensure you’re choosing the best product for their needs.

🌙 When to Choose Another Style

For soiling only ( no absorbency is needed) , choose our Encopresis Pants (with easy-clean pad).

For night training, Confidence Briefs may suit some children — but our Shorts Style Pants have more absorbency and a larger pad.

For full overnight wetting or children who release a full bladder in their sleep, our Pullups (full waterproof outer and customisable absorbency) are the best choice.
📏 Sizing
Our Confidence Pants follow standard NZ sizing for underwear.
If you’re unsure, use our free custom fitting service — simply send your child’s age, weight (if known), and usual trouser or underwear size at checkout, or message us through the chat.
Note: There’s no size 5–6. Your child will fit either 4–6 or 6–8 depending on build.
